The Miracle

A family of acrobats was performing in San Juan de los Lagos.

Their little daughter fell onto sharp knives used in the act.

She died instantly.

A local woman named Ana placed the small statue of the Virgin on the child’s body.

Moments later, the girl came back to life.

This miracle spread across Mexico, and devotion to “La Virgencita de San Juan” grew rapidly.
